Wellington Equestrian PreserveThe National Polo Center is part of the Wellington Equestrian Preserve that includes Wellington International, home of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (GDF) and Equestrian Sports Productions that produces horse shows throughout the year. The Wellington Equestrian Preserve also encompasses many individally owned horse ranches that are an integral part of Wellington's horse culture. 2026 National Polo Center Season - Wellington Schedule TBAWinter Season Polo January - March every Sunday at 3.00 PM.Polo matches at the National Polo Center. Come early and enjoy Sunday brunch on the outdoor patio including strawberries and cream. Alternatively, bring your own picnic basket and tailgate on the sidelines. You can reserve field side parking for tailgating by calling ahead. Gorgeous weather and exciting high goal polo combine to lure fans out every Sunday afternoon at 3.00 pm to meet friends, sip champagne, and munch on fresh strawberries. Between chukkas serious polo watchers wander out onto the polo field to reset divots torn up by the thundering hooves of ten fearless polo ponies. If you have never watched this fast moving, daring sport, put it on your bucket list. World-Class Polo FacilitiesSpanning over 300 acres, NPC features six tournament-grade polo fields, a grand stadium with VIP box seating, and the iconic U.S. Polo Assn. Field One. Game StructureMatches unfold in timed periods called chukkas, each lasting seven minutes. Depending on the level of play, there are typically six chukkas per match.
