Event-Based Dining: Food options are brought in for specific events (such as horse trials, festivals, and competitions) rather than operating as permanent daily restaurants.

Variety: Depending on the event size, options range from local food trucks serving meals and snacks to concession stands offering quick drinks and refreshments.

Drinks: All varieties of soda, other non-alcoholic drinks, and bottled water are available at the various vendors.

Human Water: There are hydration stations set up for various events but bringing insulated water bottles or cooler jugs filled with ice and water is strongly recommended when spending the day at the park.

Animal Water: There are numerous hose spigots and wash racks throughout the barn areas and RV campsites for horse care and animal use. The facility's water system supplies fresh, clean groundwater routinely used by competitors and event organizers for watering horses and livestock.

No On-Site Alcohol Sales: Alcohol is not sold by the venue.. Ocala Polo matches, explicitly permit spectators to bring outside food and alcoholic beverages for tailgating. Other activities strictly prohibit alcoholic beverages during their events. Check with your activity regarding alcoholic beverage policy. Also, smoking, vaping, or consuming cannabis or even medical cannabis in public venues, parks, or open spaces is illegal regardless of patient status. Florida Horse Park is a state park and all state regulations apply.

  • Grandview Invitational – International carriage driving event featuring draft horses.
  • Run For the Ribbons – Florida Thoroughbred Transformation Expo featuring competitions in seven disciplines: Show Hunter, Show Jumper, Dressage, Eventing, Polo, Working Ranch, and Freestyle.
  • WDAFL Annual Western Dressage – Western Dressage Association of Florida transforms the Florida Horse Park in Ocala into a Mardi Gras celebration of horses, harmony, and horsemanship!
  • Florida Horse Park CDE – The first event of the season’s Florida Carriage Driving Triple Crown, for both Combined Driving (CDE) and Combined Test (CT).
  • International Festival of Eventing – Prestigious equestrian triathlon. Held at the Florida Horse Park in April, along with other USEA recognized horse trials that may include the "three-day event" format.
