The 2026 WEF-Wellington horse show season for 2026 starts on December 31, 2025. Tthe 2026 Winter Equestirna Festival will feature 13 weeks of competition, 12 of which will offer FEI classes.

Four weeks of the Wellington Equestrian Festival will be highlighted by CSI5* competition, including the final Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* during the WEF 12 Rolex & WCHR Finale Week. Other highlights of the Winter Equestrian Festival include the WCHR Hunter Spectacular, BrainJuice U25 Grand Prix Series, WEF Equitation Championship, Hermès 1.50m Jumper Series, the Adequan® WEF Challenge Cup classes, groom’s classes, a team hunter exhibition, USHJA hunter derbies, the Great Charity Challenge sponsored by Fidelity® Investments, and the annual Nation’s Cup.

WEF is the largest show jumping circuit in the world and attracts top level riders from many different countries to compete in the FEI 2*CSI - 5* CSI events. Top level horses from all over the globe will be at Wellington in 2026 and their best riders are anticipating the competition ahead.

Winter Equestrian Festival 2026 Prize Money

The 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) will offer a total of over $16 million in prize money, with the $1 million Rolex US Equestrian Open CSI5* Grand Prix as the highlight. Other prize money increases include CSI4* Grand Prix qualifiers, now at $116,100 (up from $62,500), and all Junior/Amateur Jumper Classics of $1.25m and above, which will award $15,000 (up from $10,000). The 2026 season will feature 68 FEI Jumping World Ranking classes and $1.7 million for hunter prize money.

Wellington International and WEF

Wellington International equestrian events continue to be managed by the same people associated with Equestrian Sports Production (ESP). The Wellington ownership group, which owns Wellington International, is an equestrian show production company that is bringing additional excitement to the property.

Saturday Night Lights at the Winter Equestrian Festival

Experience the magic of Saturday Night Lights every Saturday evening during the Winter Equestrian Festival at the Wellington International main stadium.

The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. with gates open and show jumping starts at 7:00 p.m. For the last three weeks of the season, gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the class begins at 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy exceptional food, live music, and unique shopping from local vendors offering clothing, accessories, and equestrian gear.

Admission is free, with only a $22 charge per carload for parking. Free off-site parking is available at Equestrian Village, located at 13500 South Shore Blvd., including a complimentary shuttle to Wellington International.
